A TALENTED Bromsgrove artist has been busy with her paintbrushes in preparation for a new exhibition.
Meryl Simms unveiled the exhibition of her work at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, in Edgbaston, last Friday and it will run there until the end of this month.
Meryl, who specialises in painting gardens, flowers and houses, has a workshop at Tardebigge Court, near to the Tardebigge pub.
"I do use local scenes as inspiration for some of my work," said Meryl, who is both an artist and a supply teacher in local schools.
She also shows and sells her work in The Court Gallery, in the same precinct.
The exhibition runs until Friday, June 27 and is open during the normal opening hours of the botanical gardens. For further details call the Westbourne Road venue on 0121 454 1860.
