LABOUR lost two more seats at the recent local elections. They now hold but 10, the lowest number of seats to be held by them for a number of years.
What a cheek then at the annual meeting for long-serving Coun Roger Berry to accuse the Conservatives of "hogging" the mayoralty.
Gareth Jones may well be the fourth in a row of Conservative Mayors. Yet in 16 years from 1981 there were no less than 14 from the Labour party. Less Labour hypocrisy, please!
MICHAEL STONE, Worcester.
