TWO men from Droitwich Spa were attacked during an armed bank robbery in Worcester.
The town residents, who work for Securicor, had just pulled up outside Abbey National Bank, Broad Street, when three masked raiders jumped on them.
They were attacked with a weapon, believed to be a stick or baton, at approximately 9.50pm on Tuesday, May 27 while stopping to fill up a cash machine.
The robbers then grabbed at least one canister containing cash and drove off in a dark coloured saloon car.
The Spa Securicor employees were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Worcester, where they were both treated for minor injuries and shock before being released that evening.
