THE concerns of over fifties in Droitwich Spa were shared with the town's MP on Friday.
Mid-Worcestershire representative MP Peter Luff met Droitwich Spa Area Forum for Older People chairman Eve Freer and other members for talks at the OneStop-Shop, in High Street.
He said: "I was immensely impressed by the positive attitude all the forum members showed, as well as their determination to improve local services - and national policies - for older people."
Issues discussed included local health services, public transport, new payment methods for pensions and continuing education for older people.
Mr Luff said forum members are doing a great deal to engage with local agencies and service providers, ranging from First Bus to the county council.
He plans to back their battles and is ploughing ahead with his own investigations.
"It was a very helpful meeting for me, and I hope the forum goes from strength to strength - it certainly deserves to," the father-of-two commented.
