FUN-LOVING folk flocked to the big top for a jolly old time when the circus came to town.
Peter Jolly's Circus wowed crowds of up to 500 people for six days running when its show men and women stopped at Droitwich Spa Rugby Club.
The Hanbury Road fields became home to fire eating stuntmen, acrobats, jugglers, clowns and amazing animals. A zebra, camels, horses and llamas thrilled residents.
Fire eater Emma Appleby, aged 23, said some families had been paying two visits to the show and tickets had sold well.
"We've had some great audiences and it's been great working in Droitwich," she added.
Peter Jolly's Circus was founded more than 30 years ago and left the Spa on Sunday night.
