TWO and a half years after its beginning, Music Maker has gone from strength to strength.
With a CD under their belt already this year, they can be doubly proud of themselves following their three recent sell-out concerts.
The success tells how their teamwork has enabled them to move their performances up a notch every time.
It also speaks volumes about the knowledge and ability of the group's leaders to be able to discover, develop and create talent and bring it to fruition as undoubtedly young stars have been born within this unique group of musicians.
With a star-studded line-up of former ELO, Move and Wizard musicians in the supporting band, various groups sang some well-known hit songs, past and present.
They also performed a piece of their own work assisted by Will Hunt.
Several pieces were choreographed by Matt Hardware, notably Keep in Touch and The Show Must Go On, sung by the hugely talented Laura Poyner.
The concert also saw the debut of Mini Music, a group of four-six year olds who seemed to take the task of a live performance in their stride.
It has to be said though they looked a little askance as both cast and audience took part in Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Show at the end.
