MEMBERS of Redditch Youth Afloat have sailed to victory during the annual Laser Pico Challenge in Colwyn Bay.
Redditch Youth Afloat is part of the Johnnie Johnson Adventure Trust and was formed in 1972.
It now helps hundreds of youngsters across the town to fulfil their water sports and outdoor potentials.
The Pico Challenge is aimed at youngsters aged between nine and 18 and includes a training fleet for those who are still learning how to race and another fleet for those who have already mastered the art.
Successful competitors from Youth Afloat at this year's sailing challenge were Carl Short, who won the single handed race, Chris Marshall and Joe Taylor who came first in the double handed race and Graham Kettle and Sam Evans who took second position in the same race.
