REDDITCH animal rights campaigners staged a demonstration outside Halfords head office on Friday to protest at the use of chimpanzees in a recent TV advert for the company.
The group, together with the Captive Animals' Protection Society (CAPS), is trying to persuade Halfords to withdraw the advert.
Placard-waving campaigners were outside the headquarters in Icknield Street Drive, Washford, for the first of a nationwide series of protests.
