A 74-year-old woman was pushed to the ground suffering cuts and bruises and her handbag stolen in Alvechurch on Thursday, May 29.
The incident happened at about 10.35pm at a caravan park in Bittell Farm Road.
The woman was returning to her caravan when her bag was grabbed from behind.
Before the attack a woman was seen acting suspiciously. She is described as in her twenties, about 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. She had long dark hair down her back with dark clothing and a jacket or coat.
The bag contained £330 cash.
