ALCESTER Council's derelict football hut could soon be demolished after a spate of fires at the building.
The latest blaze, which happened in the early hours of Monday, May 26, gutted half of the building.
It was the second fire to hit the building in the last two months.
Police and fire crews from Alcester and Studley attended the fire.
The building, on land between Stratford Road and Gas House Lane, has been derelict for more than 10 years.
The decision to demolish it will be made by an assessor who inspected the building last week.
The assessor will decide whether the building is a danger to the public.
Anyone who has any information about the fire should call Alcester police on 762207.
