I WOULD like to share with your readers the good deed that was done to me today (Monday, June 2) by a young boy in South Littleton.
My purse fell out from underneath my son's pram on the way to collecting my daughter from the Littleton's School. I retraced my steps trying to find it without success.
Two hours later an 11 year old boy and his grandmother knocked on my door returning my purse intact. The boy recognised my daughter from a photograph in the purse as he had been a pupil at the same school last year and he knew what car I drove.
With a bit of detective work he located my house. What's more he declined a reward.
I would like to thank Philip and praise his parents for bringing up such an honest ingenious boy who will be a good citizen in the village.
MRS SALLY WITHEFORD, St Michaels Close, South Littleton.
