THE Pershore and District Community minibus is appealing for new drivers to ensure this valued service continues.
The bus provides low cost transport for groups and organisations around Pershore and the demand for the service has increased significantly in recent months. But due to illness and injury driver numbers have fallen.
Spokesman Roy Bayliss said: "Volunteers are not expected to make a big commitment.
"If we could find a few people who could provide cover three or four times a year, that would make a tremendous difference."
Anyone interested in offering their services, particularly over the next six months, should contact Dave Lavender on 01386 553719 or Paul Raynor on 01386 552892.
