THE Nonentities have chosen a mystical Shakespeare fairytale as their final spring season performance.
Artistic director Liz Cole predicts The Winter's Tale - which will run at Kidderminster's Rose Theatre from Monday until Saturday - will leave audiences "moved and gladdened" and says the theatre's resident group has made a timely choice.
"Obviously any Shakespeare is an event, but this lively tragi-comedy moves through the seasons and ends with spring in Bohemia and light being returned to Sicilia," adds Mrs Cole.
"There are some really sad moments but these are tempered by the sense of love and recovery at the end."
The play - one of the bard's lesser known - charts the jealousy of King Leontes who suspects his wife Hermione of adultery.
She then turns into a statue and it is not for many years that the natural order is restored. For tickets contact the box office on 01562 743745.
