A COPY centre manager has conquered her nerves to abseil down a 130ft drop and raise £200 for the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).
Sarah Cook, aged 28, is the manager of Prontaprint Hereford's digital design, print and copy centre, in Widemarsh Street.
She was coaxed into the charity "wall crawl", at historic Eastnor Castle, in Ledbury, by centre owner Richard Allen.
"We were approached by the RNIB and thought this would be a great way to encourage other local businesses to support charities," said Miss Cook, who did the daring feat on Sunday, May 18.
"As well as sponsoring me, Prontaprint produced letters and flyers to boost overall sponsorship, while a local gym, The Factory, and a local bodybuilding trainers, Team Biohazard, helped me with my strength training."
"Although the abseil was professionally supervised, I'd never attempted anything like this before.
"It was extremely nerve-wracking going over the edge of the parapet, but I gained a great deal of personal satisfaction when I finally landed back on terra firma!"
