A COUPLE will marry today - 15 years after getting engaged.
Martin Millman , from Droitwich, will finally tie the knot with Julie Booton, manager at West Midlands Co-op Travel's branch in Kidderminster, at St George's Church, Kidderminster.
Mr Millman, a 41-year-old printer, proposed when 36-year-old Miss Booton was just 21. Neither of them expected it to take so long to get down the aisle.
"The aim has always been to get married but we have never set a date and got the wedding organised," said Miss Booton.
"We both love travelling and most of our money that could have gone towards a wedding has ended up being spent on holidays!"
The happy couple, pictured left, have lived in Kidderminster for the past 18 months.
The wedding will be followed by a reception for about 80 people, and the couple will then go on honeymoon to New England for a week.
