THERE will be a concert in St Peter's Church on Wednesday, June 11 commencing at 7.30pm.
This will be a rather special event, as Alison Martin will be playing Music for a Summer Evening on the harp.
Alison, who was born in Bushley, began learning the harp at Malvern Girls' College. She initially studied piano accompaniment, later changing to harp with the renowned Siddonie Goossens.
Alison has been principal harp of the Orchestra of English National Opera since 1984, she also freelances and has played and recorded with all the major London orchestras. Please take this opportunity to hear Alison play.
Tickets are £7 each to include wine and refreshments, and can be obtained from Jane Crowther on (01684) 294177.
