The water clock at Malvern Theatres should soon be running properly again.
The clock is currently switched off for cleaning, which has to be carried out every three months.
Theatre spokesman Louise Russell said: "It all has to be cleaned out and new liquid solution put in.
"They are doing it this week, so I can't imagine it would take that long."
The water clock, or clepsydra, was designed by Bernard Gitton and unveiled at the theatres in March. It was commissioned by the Elmley Foundation, a grant-making charity.
