FROM the Hollywood big screen and the plush curtains of the Broadway stage, the magic of movies and musicals comes to Malvern for one night only.
Hollywood and Broadway takes the highlights of some of the world's top films and stage shows and blends them into a live spectacular starring Generation Game favourite Melanie Stace and musical veteran Tim Flavin.
The list of productions includes Chicago, Evita, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, The Lion King, Moulin Rouge, West Side Story, Oklahoma and more.
For Texan Tim Flavin, it's a chance to jump between classic characters from classic stories in a style of show that has become extremely popular.
"I think people love it, there's nothing like a great show tune," he said.
"It's great fun. It's like having a surreal musical hat stand with a couple of hundred hats on it. You get to go from one hat to the next and play a whole variety and range of characters."
Tim moved to the UK almost 20 years ago after being plucked from New York to play in a West End production shipped over from Broadway. He has been here ever since.
Having worked with Melanie Stace before, he said he delighted to be reunited with her once again.
"It's excellent. She's trained in the same way that I am, we're all-rounders and the show is wonderfully integrated in terms of us being able to work together."
Hollywood and Broadway is in the Forum Theatre on Friday, June 13 at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £17.50, available from the box office on 01684 892277.
