A BOY was knocked unconscious when his bike collided with a car door as he cycled past a line of parked cars.
Police believe the owner of the P registration silver Peugeot 306 car did not stop to help the injured 12-year-old, but instead chose to leave the scene.
The boy is thought to have been thrown over the car door when it opened, somersaulted and landed unconscious.
The incident happened in Ryelands Road, Leominster, on Saturday, June 7, at midday.
The woman driver is described as being in her 40s, with ear length straight black hair, wearing a grey polo shirt and black trousers.
The boy regained consciousness and was treated for a broken finger and concussion.
Anyone with information about the incident should call PC Duncan Reynolds at Leominster police station, on 08457 444 888.
