GARY Hackett and Jon Ford's departure from Bromsgrove Rovers has sparked anger among the club's fans.
Many supporters have aired their views on the club's official website, while others have contacted the Advertiser/Messenger with their responses.
With few exceptions, supporters believe axing the pair after finishing third in the Dr Martens Western at the first attempt was a mistake.
One said: "This seems a ridiculous decision. The club has, over the course of a season, finished in a fantastic position and the best way forward would be to allow the management team to build upon this success."
Fans also said Rovers' position and crowd was the envy of many Midlands non-league clubs.
