BROMSGROVE Rovers joint player manager Jon Ford has set himself a New Year's resolution of winning back his place in the starting line-up.
Ford has not played since injuring his left ankle against Clevedon Town on September 7.
But he has just undergone surgery on the troublesome ankle for slight ligament damage and should be training after the Christmas break.
He said: "I need to get back training and playing again as I have not played since September."
Also injured is new French signing Parfait Medou-Otye, who went off with a groin injury after 30 minutes of the defeat at Evesham United on Saturday, December 14.
Medou-Otye did not play against Warwick but may be fit for the visit of Rugby United on Boxing Day.
