Looking for a great sporting day out? Here's one special event which will appeal to all petrolheads.
Check out the thrill-packed LG Super Racing Weekend on offer at Donington Park on Sunday, June 29 with the spectacular double header of European Touring Car racing plus the tactical, speedy scrap for victory in the FIA GT Championship race which is decided over three gruelling hours.
And better still you could be there for free because the Shuttle/Times and News has 15 pairs of trackside admission tickets to be won worth £300.
The LG Super Racing Weekend brings the complete sporting package to the Leicestershire Grand Prix circuit - the high powered, exotic and expensive Grand Touring Cars in endurance action: Ferraris, taking on Porsche, Chrysler Vipers, Lister Jaguar and Lamborghini.
Expect about 36 of these high powered 600 horsepower cars to be packed onto the starting grid, each having a couple of drivers. The crucial action will unfold on and off the track, as pit-stops, refuelling strategies and tyre changes all coming into play, alongside the racecraft of the drivers.
They provide the morning entertainment, with three hours of hot action while the touring cars provide double sharp thrillers later on.
These are the more everyday cars, the type you can see on UK roads, but driven rather more quickly.
Alfa Romeo, BMW, Honda, Nissan, Seat, Skoda and Volvo, with top-line drivers battling for glory. The format is simple, a 30 mile race, an interval reverse the starting grid, and have a second 30 miler.
It is a tried and tested format, and there is usually plenty of close contact, such is the level of competition.
Add further action for the single seater F1 look-a-like Formula Renault V6 Eurocup racers together with Renault Clio racing, and there is appeal for everyone.
The Donington Park ticket office can be contacted on 01332 819527 to purchase advance adult tickets, priced £14.50 each, or £20 on the day.
Accompanied children 15 years and under are admitted free of charge.
Don't miss out on the chance to win tickets to attend this superb event.
To enter, answer the following question:
