MALVERN Town entertain Ledbury Town at the Langland Stadium tonight (Tuesday) in an Express and Star West Midlands Premier Division game, kick off is at 7.45pm.
Malvern whose recent run of good form has catapulted them into fourth place in the table, will be looking to build on their excellent 3-0 success at Shawbury on Saturday.
Just a little over two months ago, the Langland Stadium outfit sat 14 points behind their local rivals, but now sit three ahead of their seventh-placed visitors, Town boss Neil Hunt though is sceptical about these statistics as far as tonight's game is concerned.
Hunt said: "We know Ledbury will be fired up tonight and recent form will count for nothing unless we are prepared to compete every inch of the way, but we are all looking forward to the game and is vital that we pick up the three points which will move us into third place."
Hunt welcomes back midfielder John Walton who missed Saturday's trip to Shropshire, but otherwise picks from a full squad, with the exception of Billy Davis who last week underwent a back operation which is likely to keep him sidelined for six weeks.
Malvern Town from: Watson, Williams, Cannon, Clayton, Walker, Halion, Walton, Johnson, Palmer, Willetts, Roberts, Cox, Rose, Jones, Owen, Goodman and Hooper.
It looks like Town will not now be joined by former Football League player Darren Bullock who turned out for Bromsgrove Rovers in the Dr Martens Western Division last Saturday and was reported as having an impressive debut.
