IN their penultimate pre-season friendly last Saturday, Bromsgrove Rovers fought back from two goals behind to beat new Midland Alliance side Causeway United 3-2.
Gary Hackett and Jon Ford's side looked useful with the ball in the first half but were made to pay twice for defensive frailties and went into the break 2-0 behind.
Rovers picked themselves up in the second half got back into the game through Kevin Banner and equalised when Leydon slotted home a rebound.
Paul Lloyd won it for Rovers one minute from time when he unleashed a 25-yard drive into the top corner.
Hackett said: "In the first half we did not defend very well and found ourselves 2-0 down even though we were playing some good football."
