Alcester's Northfield squad visited Colebrook in the hope of securing their first away win of the season.
Skipper John Alderson started the ball rolling with an excellent 21-5 backed up well by Dave Hovell and Ken Harvey, both 21-17.
Chris Hollins added to the tally with a 21-13. Colebrook fought back with two good winning cards and it looked as though they could claw back a victory, but after some nail-biting ends, Jean Bannister managed to pull off an excellent recovery from being 1-12 down to lose 15-21 enough for a five shot win.
