ALCESTER added the Prudden Road Surfacing Inter-League Charity Cup to the Stratford and District Winter League title at Littletons Tennis Club on Saturday.
The town side saw off Summer South Warwickshire Prudden League champions Studley in the second Inter-League final 3-1.
Alcester stamped their authority in the opening rubbers as captain Graham Marsh and partner Steve Mitchell overcame Studley's Gary Jackson and Dave Innes 6-3, 6-0.
And the second pairing of Tim Davies and Alex Woodbridge beat Studley skipper Clive Dalton and Chris Hughes 6-4, 6-3.
With Alcester leading by two rubbers at the break they needed one to clinch the result.
Marsh and Mitchell obliged, overcoming Dalton and Hughes 6-4, 6-3 after a close tussle.
The final rubber saw a struggle with Davies and Woodbridge taking the first set 6-2.
Studley refused to lie down and Jackson and Innes fought back to take a marathon second set 7-6 after a tie-break.
Alcester skipper Marsh conceded the final set to Studley and the winners donated their £350 prize to the Macmillan fund for Cancer Research.
