WORCESTERSHIRE County Council chairman Edward Sheldon was in Redditch on Saturday for a fire station open day.
Mr Sheldon was at the station on Old Birmingham Road, as part of tour of five stations around the county.
Redditch Mayor Kieth Boyd-Carpenter was also at the open day along with hundreds of townsfolk who visited the station to join in the fun.
