A NEW free service for 13 to 19-year-olds is up and running at Redditch Youth House.
Youthzone, which has replaced the Youth Enquiry Service (YES) previously held at the Ecumenical Centre, has been launched at the Ipsley Street venue.
Young people can drop in or arrange an appointment for a confidential chat with youth workers about issues concerning them and there is also internet access, music and a coffee bar.
Opening times are 4-6pm Mondays and Wednesdays but there are also plans to open from 4-6pm on Thursdays from August and 1-4pm Saturdays and 5-8pm Sundays from July.
Sports, internet access and music creation are just some of the activities on offer at a youth club also launched at Redditch Youth House on June 2.
The club is open to 13 to 19 year olds and admission costs 50p.
Opening times are 6.30pm Mondays and Wednesdays and 7pm Thursdays.
