EXHALL and Wixford have gained home advantage in their National Village Knockout regional semi final after Sunday's attempt to play was rained off.
The Cotswold Hills League Premier Division side host Everards Leicestershire County League opponents Bitteswell on Sunday in the last four of the Leicestershire and Warwickshire region.
Exhall dropped into mid-table after losing their top three clash to Stratford Bards on Saturday.
Carmichael's troops could find only 176 in reply to Bards' 204-5 to pick up just six league points.
The villagers trail leaders Overbury by 23 points despite a good start to the season and visit struggling Kineton on Saturday (2pm start).
A win in the knockout would be a welcome boost and set up a regional final at home to either Leicestershire League outfit Billesdon or Warwickshire side Fillongley whose semi final was also rained off on Sunday.
