FECKENHAM recorded a win over Worcester Nomads at the weekend in a high-scoring affair to set up a tasty derby against National Knockout trailblazers Astwood Bank on Saturday (2pm start).
The Mill Lane side saw their opponents reach 259-9 but responded in kind with a thumping 261-8 to win by two wickets and climb away from the second division drop zone.
Andy Fletcher's side tumbled out of the National Knockout at the first hurdle and have seen Saturday's opponents reach the Regional Final.
But with the Bank saying the league is all-important, Feckenham can dent their rivals' ambitions of an instant return to the first division.
