Hewell have the perfect chance to rekindle their promotion hopes at home to Division Five leaders Highley on Saturday (2pm start).
The Donkey Hole Lane side suffered a second successive defeat to slip to third, five points off the promotion places, at the weekend.
The match against Worcester Corinthians started promisingly enough with Duncan Ravenscroft continuing his imperious form with 5-33 as the Worcester side were bowled for 150.
But it all went horribly wrong for the villagers as they were skittled for 66ao in reply to suffer an ignominious 84 run defeat and pick up just four league points.
But a win on Saturday could see Hewell leapfrog a Highley side just nine points ahead of them.
