WYTHALL stayed in touch with the third division leaders despite crashing to defeat at lowly Castle Bromwich at the weekend.
The Silver Street side fell short of a 212 total to finish 175ao and only pick up six league points.
But defeat for leaders Streetly limited the damage to Tariq Yousaf's side who host relegation candidates Offchurch on Saturday (2pm start).
The result sees newly-promoted Wythall fourth, just seven points adrift of the two promotion places.
The club had a lift on Sunday when they gained their first ever Birmingham League scalp.
Wythall beat Division Two outfit Pelsall in a Sunday league match.
