CHARFORD First School pupil Gage Talbot has won a competition to design a logo for the South Bromsgrove alliance.
The contest was held in three first schools. The children had to depict what they liked best about their area.
The entries were shortlisted to the last 90 and a panel of judges, including Advertiser/Messenger chief reporter Pete Lammas, chose a winner in each year group for the three schools and an overall winner.
The prizes were presented by Alan Wallcroft, editor of the Advertiser/Messenger, along with Kevin and Lesley McNamara and Fiona Pipe. The South Bromsgrove alliance is a newly-formed group of representatives ranging from health professionals, district council members, school representatives, the police and voluntary agencies.
