SATURDAY sees the start of National Neighbourhood Watch week and Spa crimebusters are staging some special events to celebrate.
Neighbourhood Watch is celebrating 21 years of crime prevention and members of the Spa group are doing their bit to mark the anniversary.
This Saturday they will be teaming up with officers from Droitwich Spa police to man an information stall in the precinct.
There will be shed and personal alarms on sale at the stall, as well as numerous neighbourhood watch items aimed at crime prevention.
The police will be on hand to offer advice on security and there will be plenty of information to help townsfolk protect themselves and their property.
Property marker pens will be given away on the day, which runs from 10.30am-4pm.
Spa Neighbourhood Watch has also teamed up with The Advertiser to hold a wordsearch competition to help promote crime awareness week.
The competition boasts some excellent prizes, which will help you protect yourself and your property.
The first prize is a home black and white CCTV system. The second prize is a shed alarm, as well as a personal alarm. The third prize is a personal alarm.
