THE curtain is about to be brought down on another Droitwich and District Snooker League season.
All fixtures in both divisions have been completed, leaving the annual general meeting in July and presentation evening in September to wrap things up.
Droitwich Spa Snooker Centre A and Bromsgrove Royal British Legion B won division one and division two respectively.
Bromsgrove RBL B also won the Gwilliam Russell Cup last week.
But the season is one Droitwich Golf Centre would rather forget. Their A team finished bottom of division one and their B side propped up division two.
League secretary Vic Hale said: "It's been a fair season, everything has gone quite well and there's been a few surprises."
Nat Hollis compiled the league's highest break, his 59 for Millfields B clear of the field in division one. P Lane's 39 was the highest contribution of the year in division two for Bromsgrove Police Club B.
Garry Ford, featured in the Advertiser/Messenger two weeks ago, won 21 of his 23 division one frames for Droitwich Snooker Centre A, giving him the top average of 91.3 per cent.
But two players bettered that in division two. Tony Orford of Bromsgrove Royal British Legion B and Rob Randall of Bromsgrove Unionist Club C both won 21 of 22 frames for a 95.45 per cent average.
Ford claimed the Guardian Cup and John Yates Shield while Orford won the Chairman's Cup.
The Ken Crawford Cup went the way of Hollis and E Homans was victorious in the Seniors' Cup, becoming the only second division player to defeat a top flight opponent in a final.
League secretary Hale was runner-up in the Chairman's Cup and Seniors' Cup.
Elsewhere, Millfields B won the Ansells Cup for division one and Bromsgrove Police Club B took the Howard Harrison Cup.
The AGM will be held at Millfields District and Social Club, in Millfields Road, from 8pm on Monday, July 14 and every team wishing to compete next season must be represented.
Trophies will be presented at Aston Fields Social Club, in Stoke Road, on Friday, September 19.
