THE success of last year's Golden Jubilee celebrations in Studley has prompted the organisers to hold another big bash next week.
The three-day "Studley Jubbley" proved so popular with villagers last year that on June 21 a similar event will be held with plenty of entertainment.
From 10.30am-2pm a children's arts and crafts show has been organised in the village hall.
More details are available in leaflets from village schools, the post office or Studley News in Alcester Road.
Then at 2pm a fete kicks off on the Recreation Ground off High Street which will feature a dog display and other demonstrations, stalls and a bar.
At the same time, villagers can enter a five-a-side football competition. Entrants should call Nick Smallman on 550873 for details.
From 4-7pm there will then be a Tea Dance featuring an evening of nostalgic music and dance.
And to wrap things up, a big concert on the recreation ground will run from 5.30pm featuring a host of local talent.
Helpers, marshals and first-aiders are still needed. Call 852141.
