PRESIDENT Brenda Dainty opened the May meeting and was pleased to welcome a new member.
Joan Johnson gave a report on the food, flower and craft day, which was held in Bewdley this year and which three members attended.
A garden party in aid of St Mary's Hospice has been arranged and will take place in a member's garden, weather permitting, on June 20.
Requests were made for contributions to the various stalls.
Discussion of the resolutions to be presented at the London AGM concerning children's diet and health and the care of the elderly provoked much lively comment.
Visitors are welcome at the next meeting on June 25 at 2pm when George Hook will talk about The World of Mother of Pearl.
