Accident to a telegraph messenger - a painful accident occurred to a telegraph messenger named Sanders on Tuesday afternoon.
The authorities have just issued a number of bicycles for the use of telegraph messengers at the Redditch Post Office.
About 2.30 on Tuesday in Church Road, Sanders and another lad were learning to ride one of these machines when by some means the former fell, fracturing his right arm.
In the absence of Dr Pierce, medical officer to the Post Office, Sanders was taken to the surgery of Dr Page, where the injury was attended to.
