ON Saturday, many people went to Hewell Park to witness the interesting and amusing game of 'curling' on the lake.
Mr R Forrest JP brought up a team from St Fagan's comprising Major Forrest, Mr P Forrest, Mr Hugh Pettigrew, Mr Hunter.
The Hewell team comprised Lady Windsor, Hon Phyllis Windsor Clive, Miss Nancy Paget, Mr Margesson, Mr AA Pettigrew.
A break was made for luncheon.
The St Fagan's team left at 5.45pm.
Amongst the spectators were Lady Isabel Margesson and Mrs LF Lambert.
The game was played during the whole day.
