Bert Gibbons, Albert Malins and George Keyte, youths, all of Astwood Bank were charged with maliciously breaking a quick set hedge the property of Mr William Darby Hollington, on September 21st thereby doing damage to the amount of sixpence.
There was further charge against the defendants of damaging a pear tree at the same time and place.
Gibbons and Keyte pleaded guilty and Malins did not appear.
