The body of a man found in the River Severn in Worcester last month has been identified as that of a 70-year-old Birmingham man.
The badly decomposed remains of Alan Green, a retired builder from Manor Road in Stechford, was discovered among reeds and debris by members of the public under New Road Bridge on Tuesday, June 17.
An inquest is to be opened in the near future to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
