A 31-year-old woman was left badly shaken after a man tried to abduct her as she walked along a Redditch town centre road on Sunday night.
The woman had spent a night out with friends at Chicago Rock Caf and was walking up Unicorn Hill at about 11.45pm when she noticed a man on the other side of the road.
The man followed her after she ignored his calls and as she reached Easemore Road, he grabbed her and tried to stop her from walking away.
He struggled with the victim but ran off when a car came along the road.
The attacker was Asian, aged in his early 30s, about 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build with dark hair which was bald on top and at the front.
He was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and dark trainers.
Anyone with information can call DC Pettit at Redditch CID on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
