REDDITCH United have been handed away draws in their opening two rounds of the FA Cup.
The draw, which pits United away to lower league Leek CSOB in the preliminary round, was announced on Monday.
Rod Brown's side enjoyed a profitable cup run which ended in a surprise defeat to lower league Arnold Town in fourth round qualifying and banked the club £16,000 in winnings alone after a five match run.
But the Reds will have to last a lot longer to make the same money this year after the FA slashed the winnings on offer.
A win at a Leek CSOB side who play the equivalent of two divisions lower in Division Two of the North West Counties League will net United £1,000 - the same as last year.
But a win in First Round Qualifying at either cash-strapped league rivals Solihull Borough or lower league Stone Dominoes will bring in only £2,250, a fall of £5,250.
And although the FA Trophy prize money has been increased, the extra £1,050 on offer for a home win over fellow Dr Martens Western side Cirencester Town will hardly make up the shortfall.
