DROITWICH Spa Cricket Club First XI will play Worcestershire for the first time in 70 years next Monday.
The two sides meet at St Peter's Field on Monday, July 14 as part of county player David Leatherdale's (pictured, left) benefit season.
Worcestershire are playing a number of matches across the county for Leatherdale, but Monday will be the first time since 1930 that a full strength side has turned out. The 40-over game will feature each player bowling four overs.
A barbecue and raffle kick-off the fun at 12pm and the action starts at 1.30pm. Entry is free.
