Dear Editor - Congratulations to Eleanor Sinton, the headmistress, and staff at Wychbold First and Nursery School.

As parents, it is quite a challenge to select the right school for your children and more difficult for individual small schools to convince you that they are right for your child.

But a school in special measures did just that. As parents we had a major decision - whether to move our nine-year-old daughter because she was unhappy at her old school. After visiting Wychbold First and Nursery, we were so impressed we did just that. We were not disappointed. The whole curriculum is made both interesting and exciting, so that the children look forward to going to school.

What an achievement for Wychbold First and Nursery School, to now be out of special measures. This is due to the dedication of the headmistress and her staff.

We would like to say a big thank you for the last nine months of Samantha's first school education and making our decision the right one.
