Dear editor - I have lived in Hampton Lovett for the past six years and the A442 Droitwich to Kidderminster Road has always been busy, more so since the Stonebridge Cross Business Park was built.
I can now see a dual carriageway is in progress to accommodate the heavy lorries from the business park. Now all I can see for the future is non-stop traffic thundering up and down the road.
Unlike many people, I do not own a car, so without a proper bus service from here, walking into Droitwich will be like a walk on the motorway, unless a proper footpath is to be made.
As there is a 40mph speed limit on this road, it will be interesting to see if the traffic continues to speed up and down breaking the limit. In my view, a speed camera would be the only answer.
Mr A Jennings,
Doverdale Park Homes,
Hampton Lovett.
