THE society held its second show of the 2003 series at the usual venue - All Saints Hall, Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove.
Denise Barney, a toy and gundog specialist from Walsall, came in to judge a very good entry of 106 dogs. Mrs Barney made a Boxer bitch, owned by Mrs Brown from Worcester, the best in the show.
Reserve best in show went to an American Cocker spaniel bitch from Studley, owned by Miss Richards and Mucci. Best opposite sex in show was a Llasa Apso dog owned by Mrs Wilkes, of Solihull. Best Puppy was a Pointer, from Leominster, owned by Mrs Tarling. Local winners were Mr and Miss Beston's Cocker Spaniel - 2nd Cocker class. Mrs Elliott's Pointer - 3rd veteran, 3rd Sporking.
