The June meeting was held at Stoke Prior village hall. Twenty people, including two visitors, attended, and the president, Nancy Davis, welcomed them.
Members are preparing a history of the Stoke Prior W I, covering the period from when it was formed in November 1931 to the present day.
Some members had provided exhibits for inclusion in a section of the Bewdley Craft Show held in May. The judges' comments were displayed against each item and it was considered that the print bag decorated with cross-stitch embroidery by Nancy Davis was the nearest to them required.
There was a display of Cadbury memorabilia at the meeting. Kenneth Hughes gave a presentation with slides covering the history of Cadburys. Members expressed their thanks and appreciation to Mr Hughes for a very interesting and informative presentation.
