HOW people can enthusiastically support the main political parties defies logic.
Few people approve of economic migrants, political correctness, soft treatment of criminals and the "if it moves, sue it culture".
Nonetheless, that is precisely what they all offer in reality.
I meet very few people who approve of the EU. Polls have shown a majority in favour of us "cutting our losses" - never mind euros and constitutions.
None has policies to radically rebuild the health service. What is wrong with the French model - objectively the best in the world?
They bring us wars we never asked for and spend our money like water.
Whatever happened to promises to reform our benefits system? Why is our money poured out to the feckless while too many genuinely needy people suffer?
Why is care for the elderly wrecking lives of those who have contributed to the system?
Little wonder voters turn to the hard Right, but I would like to suggest a radical but moderate alternative. Why not vote UK Independence Party? Removing us from the EU would certainly free massive amounts of funds for our needs.
Losing Article 87 would see our economy surge forward. All the myths of lost jobs have now been debunked. I shall be voting for them in the EU elections. Under proportional representation, the party got three MEPs last time.
The time is ripe next June to vote for something different.
