OUR President Margaret Wainwright welcomes us to the June meeting again.
After attending to the necessary business we expressed out condolences and Margaret presented our Treasurer Dorothy Groves, who had very recently lost her husband, a basket of flowers along with a signed card from the members. We were then introduced to our speaker Hazel Smith who had brought along the Crafts and Loan Museum Collection. It was a wonderful display and the high standard of workmanship was most impressive. The exquisite evening bag and the charming toddler's bonnet were very attractive. When thanking Hazel, we were all mesmerised by the collection. A bring and buy was held and did very well. This month's competition 'I made it myself' attracted many entries of such a variety, it was left as a member's display. Hazel had noted the high marks of items held at the recent rally.
We were treated to extra refreshments along with our welcomed cup of tea.
